CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 results 2013 by May 25


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 results are most likely to be declared by May 25, 2013 said a CBSE official. Speaking to a newspaper in Chandigarh, Regional Director, CBSE, R. J. Khanderao said that preparations for the results are under process and the results are likely to be out by May 25, 2013. The office of the Controller of Examination (CoE) of CBSE at New Delhi reportedly said the results are expected at the end of the month as the meeting is pending to decide about the date.

CBSE 2013 Class 10 or Class 12 results can be accessed at the official website of the CBSE, kept especially to display CBSE Results (http://cbseresults.nic.in). The CBSE is reportedly also working on a system to provide SMS services to the students to get result - related information on their mobile phones. 

The CBSE Class X and Class XII Examinations 2013 were conducted during March and April, 2013.It may be recalled here that in 2012, CBSE results for Class 10 were declared on May 24, while Class 12 results could be announced only on May 28. In 2012, while Class 10 recorded a pass percentage of 98.19, the Class 12 CBSE results saw a drop of around 20 percentage points. Last year (2012), girls outperformed boys in the CBSE Class 12 results recording a pass percentage of 86.21 per cent against the 75.80 per cent for boys.

The board came into being in the year, 1952 and caters to all the Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs), Jawahar  Navodaya Vidyalayas, schools approved by the Central government and private schools. At present there are more than 9000 schools affiliated to CBSE spread in 19 countries all over the world with approximately 12 million students studying in those schools. The CBSE is responsible for conducting examinations for Class 10 called, All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) and Class 12 called, All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) besides a few other examinations.
